The books that have had the biggest impact on me are a lot of photography books. I use them as references every day. I don’t think I can pick one. A lot of Helmut Newton books, Avedon books. I like them all the time.
In my personal life my sister is extremely encouraging and believes in me wholeheartedly. In my work life, I have lots of inspirations. I am fortunate enough to work with lots of incredible women, who keep me engaged and inspired throughout my career. I definitely have lots of women in my life that are inspiring.
I maintain balance in my life by making my children a priority, for sure. When you work, you definitely need to prioritize family first.
I unwind by getting a massage — always. I love it. And I do yoga.
My approach to styling is going with your gut. I try very hard not to doubt my instincts.
The best way to handle a setback is to go through it. You can’t go over it, or under it.
